BRIDGESTONE BT016 PRO

The front and rear wheels of the new Bridgestone Battlax BT 016 Pro feature the well-known Bridgestone multi-layer compound technologies. Two different rubber compounds are installed on both wheels using the 3LC (Three Layer Compound) process: The compound in the middle of the tread ensures good braking force transmission on the front wheel and high traction and mileage on the rear wheel; the rubber compound on the tire shoulder is responsible for maximum grip in inclined positions.

The rubber compounds used in the BT 016 Pro were completely newly developed and give the BT 016 Pro further improved wet grip while also increasing mileage. The technologies “Silica Rich EX” (increased silica content in the mixture) and “RC Polymer” are used. “RC Polymer” supports the silica effect and at the same time controls the temperature-dependent changes in the rubber mixture.
